HiveMQ Accelerates Growth with New US Office and Expanded Leadership Team

Boston office to support customers as US grows to a 60 percent share of HiveMQ revenues

8 August 2023, BOSTON, MA - HiveMQ, the global leader in enterprise MQTT solutions, is excited to announce the opening of a new office in Boston, Massachusetts.

This strategic expansion comes on the back of HiveMQ’s rapid growth, with total revenues doubling year over year.

The decision to establish a physical presence in Boston aims to better serve the growing US market, which now accounts for 60 percent of revenues for the company founded in Germany in 2012.

The new Boston office will serve as a hub for sales, support, customer success, and executive leadership, providing a strong foundation to support continued adoption of the HiveMQ enterprise MQTT platform in the region.

Alongside this milestone, HiveMQ is pleased to introduce three industry experts who have joined the company’s leadership team to support the company’s commitment to enabling every company to embrace the Internet of Things (IoT) worldwide.

Rinus Strydom has assumed the role of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), based in Boston and bringing a wealth of experience in global sales strategy.

As CRO, Rinus will lead the company's revenue generation efforts and reinforce HiveMQ's commitment to delivering exceptional value to its growing customer base.

Mark Herring joins HiveMQ as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) with a proven track record in B2B marketing and brand management.

Mark will drive the company's marketing vision, lead brand positioning initiatives, and enhance customer engagement strategies.

Under his leadership, HiveMQ will bolster its market presence and solidify its reputation as the trusted MQTT platform.

Mirko Deneke has assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Mirko brings extensive financial expertise and success driving strategic financial planning and business optimization.

As CFO, Mirko will oversee financial operations, ensure prudent fiscal management, and support HiveMQ's global expansion initiatives.

"Opening an office in Boston and expanding the leadership team is an important milestone as we work to support our rapidly growing customer base," said Christian Meinerding, CEO and Co-founder of HiveMQ.

"In the past few years, we have made significant strides in the US, particularly with Fortune 500 companies. We are deepening our commitment to supporting those customers and see great potential for new opportunities and accelerated adoption of HiveMQ in industries such as smart manufacturing, transportation, and energy."

With its new Boston office and strengthened leadership team, HiveMQ is primed to help more companies worldwide build reliable, scalable and secure IoT deployments on the back of MQTT.

HiveMQ boasts numerous Fortune 500 customers including Liberty Global, Siemens, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, ZF, and Audi.
