Introducing HiveMQ Cloud on Microsoft Azure
In 2020 we released the very first version of HiveMQ Cloud on AWS. Since then, HiveMQ Cloud has helped companies of all sizes realize their IoT projects in an easy, reliable, and scalable way - and we at HiveMQ have learned a lot with our customers. One thing we noticed is a growing demand for running HiveMQ on Microsoft Azure infrastructure. Today we are very proud to announce that HiveMQ Cloud is now also available on Microsoft Azure.
Especially for developers in companies that follow a strict Azure business strategy, our new release offers the possibility to fully focus on the development of their IoT applications, rather than deploying and managing an MQTT broker on Azure infrastructure. Additionally, HiveMQ Cloud brings HiveMQ’s full support of all MQTT features and 100% compatibility with MQTT versions 3, 3.1.1, and MQTT 5 to Azure. HiveMQ Cloud makes features such as shared subscriptions, retained messages, and user properties available on a fully managed MQTT broker running on Azure. This helps companies build first-class IoT applications that can take advantage of all the great benefits the open MQTT standard offers.
Microsoft Azure is now available with the HiveMQ Cloud Basic package, which gets you started easily with free connectivity for up to 100 devices. After signing up, simply select the cloud provider of your choice and you’ll immediately get a fully managed MQTT broker that is completely compatible with the MQTT standard specification.
