In March 2021 we introduced HiveMQ Cloud Basic, a new package that enables you to connect up to 100 devices at no cost. For everyone interested in using HiveMQ Cloud for free, we recommend getting started with HiveMQ Cloud Basic.

Earlier this year we launched HiveMQ Cloud, a fully managed MQTT service that makes it easy to deploy and manage an MQTT broker. The feedback we have received from our customers and community has been very positive. They appreciate HiveMQ’s predictable pricing, dedicated infrastructure as well as the HiveMQ reliability and scalability.

One thing we did hear from many people is that they wanted to use HiveMQ Cloud to do proof of concepts, deploy smaller scale IoT applications and in general provide an opportunity to explore HiveMQ Cloud. Last month we announced the HiveMQ Cloud Starter Package that is ideally suited for PoC and smaller deployments. Today, we are thrilled to announce that a 7 day free trial of HiveMQ Cloud is now available.

The HiveMQ Cloud 7 day free trial gives everyone the opportunity to experience how easier it is to deploy and manage an MQTT broker. It takes 5 easy steps:

  1. Sign-up to HiveMQ Cloud
  2. Start the HiveMQ Free Trial
  3. Enter your credit card information. At the end of the free trial, we will automatically convert you to a paying customer. Of course you can cancel the free trial at any time to avoid payment.
  4. Wait for the HiveMQ cluster to be created
  5. Start connecting your MQTT clients to the HiveMQ Cloud instance.

It is that easy. We have a step-by-step tutorial with lots of details.

We hope you take the time to experiment with HiveMQ Cloud. Please let us know what you think in the comments.
