We’re pleased to announce the release of HiveMQ 2.1.1. This is a Bugfix release and brings fixes in the DUP flag handling when resending PUBREL messages to clients. We also fixed a race condition and a bug in the plugin system when calling low-level callbacks.

To see a full list of all bugfixes, see the changelog.

If you’re a Windows user, we have some exciting news to share with you: We created a convenient Windows Service Installer and uninstaller for HiveMQ, so you can start and stop HiveMQ like any other service on your Windows OS. You can find all details about the Windows Service Installer here.

Let us know what you think about the release in the comments!

Have a great day, The HiveMQ Team
