This past month has been an exciting time for the HiveMQ team. We are thrilled to announce we have won two prestigious awards that recognize the success and growth of our company.

In October, HiveMQ (in 2018 still named “dc-square”) was accepted into the German Accelerator, an acceleration program that supports German companies to enter the US market. HiveMQ was one of only 14 companies accepted into the program for Q1/2019. Acceptance into this program will allow us to expand our HiveMQ community and customer base in the US market. In 2019, we will open an office in San Francisco to lead this expansion.

This past week, HiveMQ (alias dc-square GmbH) was named in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 Award 2018, an award that recognizes fast growing German companies. HiveMQ’s revenue has grown over 1200% in the last 4 years placing us as the sixth fastest growing startup in Germany. Given the vibrant startup community in Germany, we are very honoured to be recognized as one of the leaders.

This past year has been a very exciting time for all of us on the HiveMQ team. We now have over 100 customers using HiveMQ in production. Our customers are using HiveMQ as the core infrastructure platform for building some very cool new digital products. They see HiveMQ and MQTT as being the way to create fast, reliable and cost efficient IoT applications. We are really proud that HiveMQ is being so broadly accepted.

Thank you to all our customers and community that have made 2018 a great year for HiveMQ. We have lots of amazing things planned for 2019 to make HiveMQ and MQTT even more successful.
