HiveMQ Platform Operator for Kubernetes 2.1.4 Maintenance Release

The HiveMQ Team is pleased to announce the release of HiveMQ Platform Operator for Kubernetes 2.1.4. This maintenance release for the 2.1 series resolves a validation issue in the operator and delivers several fixes for the bundled Helm charts.

HiveMQ Platform Operator for Kubernetes Helm Charts

• Resolved issues in the HiveMQ Platform Grafana dashboard where broken sub-query patterns caused panels to display no data. The update also removes a hardcoded datasource UID that prevented the dashboard from working correctly on fresh installations.
• Fixed an incompatibility where the sessionAffinity: ClientIP setting on the Control Center service prevented LoadBalancer-type services from being provisioned on cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure. Session affinity is now applied only for ClusterIP and NodePort services.

HiveMQ Platform Operator for Kubernetes

• Fixed an incorrect validation that rejected Kubernetes service port names longer than 15 characters. The 15-character length limit only applies to container port names and target ports, not to service port names.
