The HiveMQ Team is pleased to announce the availability of HiveMQ Platform Operator for Kubernetes 1.5.2. This maintenance release for the 1.5 series provides useful bug fixes and usability enhancements.

HiveMQ Platform Operator for Kubernetes Helm charts

  • Added support for ephemeralStorage resource configuration in the HiveMQ Platform Operator Helm chart and the HiveMQ Platform Helm chart.

HiveMQ Platform Operator for Kubernetes

  • Addressed the vulnerability that originated from a third-party library used in our HiveMQ Platform Operator. This vulnerability occurs due to improper exception handling in the GzipSource class when processing a malformed gzip buffer. For detailed information, please refer to: CVE-2023-3635.
  • Fixed an issue that triggered a scaling operation after a rolling restart was finished.
