Overview

Microsoft SQL Server (and cloud-based Azure SQL) are a widely used, enterprise-grade relational database management system designed to store, process, and analyze structured data. The HiveMQ Enterprise Extension for Microsoft SQL Server makes it possible to:

  • Forward MQTT messages directly into SQL Server or Azure SQL, without additional middleware or infrastructure.
  • Ingest MQTT data in its original format, including payload, topic, timestamps, and metadata, directly into the database.
