What’s New in HiveMQ 4.29?

The HiveMQ team is pleased to announce the release of HiveMQ Enterprise MQTT Platform 4.29. This release focuses on enhancements and fixes to improve performance and user experience.

HiveMQ Enterprise MQTT Broker

  • Fixed an issue that could incorrectly indicate dropped messages during a cluster topology change.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause an out-of-memory error when processing QoS 0 messages with large message payloads.
  • Improved broker performance on large machines with multiple cores by removing an unnecessary pool of threads to decrease context switches and increase message processing per second.
  • Removed an unnecessary log warning during HiveMQ startup.
  • Improved log statement handling during the backup process to avoid unnecessary WARN entries.
