What’s new in HiveMQ Edge 2025.7

HiveMQ Edge release of 2025.7 is a maintenance release to improve HiveMQ Edge’s performance and reliability, addressing known bugs and recent feedback from the community and customers.

Find below a list of changes and improvements included in this release:

• Deleting combiners no longer triggers error messages.
• The combiner editor now consistently displays tags, topic filters, and schemas.
• Keyboard-only “drag and drop” is now fully supported in the combiner’s mapping interface.
• The combiner can detect similar properties between source and destination and suggest mappings.
• Uploaded schemas for mappings now provide immediate validation feedback.
• Validation feedback is now shown for every field in the combiner editor.
• Combiner events are properly linked to their configuration editor in the Event Log.
• The schemas used in mappings now fully support all defined validation rules.
• Data Hub preset file validation has been improved to enforce strict versioning (starting at 1 with no gaps).
• In the tag list, schemas are only visible if the device supports Southbound mappings.
• The combiner now displays feedback about the validity of uploaded schemas.
• Fixed an issue where a bug prevented policies from being checked and published.
• Fixed an error in the volume claim template caused by dynamic tags.
• Corrected typos in events displayed in the UI.
• Deleting combiners no longer triggers error messages.
