HiveMQ Edge 2025.2 is Released
What’s new in HiveMQ Edge 2025.2
Our second release of the year brings some exciting additions and improvements to HiveMQ Edge.
Data Hub now uses the persistence mode that is configured in edge (in-memory per default). This means that resources of Data Hub, such as policies or schemas are not persisted to disk by default anymore. To change this set the persistence mode to 'file-native' (recommended) or 'file'. Existing data will not be deleted when started using persistence mode 'in-memory'.
Issues resolved:
- Multiple instructions can now be used during mapping of data for southbound mappings.
- Startup logs were improved to reduce verbosity on INFO log level
- Various outdated libraries were removed that showed vulnerabilities in security scans although they were never loaded by Edge.
- Creation of bridges via the frontend was fixed.
- It is now possible to adapt the log level using the helm chart.
Helm chart (version 0.1.2):
- Updated to use 2025.2 image
