Simplify and Secure User Access with Single Sign-On (SSO) for HiveMQ Cloud

We’re excited to share that Single Sign-On (SSO) using your own Identity Provider is coming to HiveMQ Cloud! This new capability, just rolled out for our Enterprise customers, is designed to make user access management simpler, safer, and more scalable for organizations that rely on Identity Providers (IdPs) like Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, and Auth0.

Why We’re Adding SSO Support

Managing user access across multiple systems can quickly become a challenge for enterprise IT teams. Password fatigue, manual onboarding/offboarding, and inconsistent access policies are all common pain points. With SSO, we're giving our customers a way to integrate HiveMQ Cloud into their existing identity and access management frameworks—no extra overhead or duplicated effort required.

This launch brings:

• Seamless authentication via your organization’s existing IdP

• Better security through centralized policy enforcement and support for MFA

• Improved compliance with consistent access control and audit trails

How to Get Started with SSO on HiveMQ Cloud

SSO is available starting now for all HiveMQ Cloud Enterprise customers upon request. The initial release supports the OpenID Connect (OIDC) protocol with out-of-the-box integrations for:

• Okta

• Azure Active Directory

• Google Workspace

• Auth0
