# HiveMQ 4.28.30 Maintenance Release

The HiveMQ team is pleased to announce the availability of **HiveMQ 4.28.30**.

> **NOTE: HiveMQ 4.55 is the new Long-Term Support (LTS) version of the HiveMQ Enterprise MQTT Broker.** Support for HiveMQ 4.28.x continues for six months after the 4.55 LTS release (through February 2027). After that date, HiveMQ 4.28.x receives no further maintenance or security releases. This maintenance release for the 4.28 series includes the following improvement:

## HiveMQ Enterprise Extension for MongoDB

- Updated the recommended MongoDB instance version to 7.0 or higher.
