The HiveMQ team is pleased to announce the availability of HiveMQ Enterprise Extension for Kafka 1.1.1.
This is a maintenance release for the extension that includes the following improvements:
- Fine-tuned restart of Kafka topic mappings to prevent possible duplicate messages.
- Significantly faster shutdown time for your HiveMQ Extension for Kafka.
- Improved handling of not consumed messages at extension shutdown to ensure accurate message processing.

If you currently use the HiveMQ Enterprise Extension for Kafka, we recommend that you upgrade to version 1.1.1.
