We are pleased to announce the release of HiveMQ 1.4.3. This is a critical bugfix release and all users of HiveMQ 1.4 are strongly advised to update.

This release fixes a regression where MQTT client takeovers didn’t work correctly. When using HiveMQ in embedded mode, the plugin loading mechanism didn’t work correctly in previous versions. This issue is now fixed. We also fixed an edge case where reconnecting with the cleanSession flag didn’t work properly if there was a persistent subscription for the same client before.

The complete changelog can be found here.

We hope you enjoy this update. We’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments about this release!
