The HiveMQ team is pleased to announce the availability of HiveMQ 3.1.3. This is a scheduled maintenance release and brings the following improvements:

  • Fixed an issue where the start script didn’t handle whitespaces correctly
  • Improved license file handling in case of incorrect license files
  • Improved metric reporting for some metrics
  • Fixed a problem if offline client queues are full on systems with imprecise timestamp resolutions
  • Fixed a problem where the plugin system would report too much disconnected clients in some cases
  • Fixed a problem that prohibited the HelloWorld plugin to start correctly
  • The systemd start script now starts with a much higher maximum file limit
  • Removed cosmetic warnings from logging
  • Cluster performance improvements
  • Stability improvements

You can download the new HiveMQ version here.

We recommend to upgrade if you are an HiveMQ 3.1.x user.
